...and before you start banging on about me being obese i.am a size 12/14

= size 18.

i dont care whether its with food or booze or drugs - if you abuse your body you should live with the consequences. or at least contribute to fixing them.

Do people who have to buy bigger shoes pay more?

What about all those Muscle Marys who inflate their bodies at the gym?

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
The hypocrisy towards the obese in this country is staggering. Someone turning to food in times of emotional.distress would be far less demonised if they just became alcoholics.

The NHS uses smoking and obesity as a reason to withdraw healthcare and people in general judge them.a lot more harshly. However i cant remember ever reading about someone running someone over because they'd eaten too much pizza, or starting a fight and ending up in a&e because he'd eaten too many greggs pasties. Even if someone drunk.does need the services of the nhs, they arent charged extra for it. Alcohol related injuries cost the NHS a fortune, but we live in a drinking culture so shift the focus of all that is a bit crap onto fat people.

...and before you start banging on about me being obese i.am a size 12/14.

My advice, eat a load more pies and then you too can benefit from the reduced prices of the larger items.

Sorted!

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
Ironically....they usually pay less. whenever I look for clothes in a sale, they always have XL, XXL, reduced whereas for a medium like me, usually nothing.

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
yes...might slow my wifes clothes buying down.

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
Think of it the other way round.
Fit and healthy people are rewarded for their efforts and pay less.
If it was equal prices for all sizes then the price would be based on the fabrics used in the larger sizes so the XS- 2XL sizes are then being unfairly taxed for being healthy.
Which is worse as it effects more people!

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
Really this is appallingly sizeist. Don't you know that our overweight compatriots are that size because of their glands?

Mind you the cake and pies don't help.

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
it's crazy how overweight people are told to embrace their curves and we cannot fat shame them.............. and yet underweight skinny people are banned from catwalks and TV ads.

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
I was thinking of something slightly similar the other day.

If you're over 6'5 for example - but within BMI - you should get a slight tax break, say 1-2% - to help with the cost of food and lviing, as its not exactly fair, someone who is 5'0 - buys kids shoes, eats maybe only 1100 calories a day, its not your fault if you're a big fucker, is it?

Great post, agreed

We have a annoying trait in this country to excuse and normalise obesity. If your clothes use more material then yes they should cost more. Essentially a tax on being fat.

Obesity is one of the biggest costs to the taxpayer

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
Tragic how many fat cunts there are nowadays.

In the 70's there would be ONE fat bastard kid per school.

Now there's hordes of them.

Go to a Toby Carvery and look at the size of some of the punters. Gluttonous fat fuckers.

Fat fuckers who can't even waddle anymore and get a mobility scooter instead.

Tax the eyesore fat cunts. No excuse for being a waddling fat fuck.

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
If you have a house that has 10 windows and the house down the road has 8 you'd pay for 2 extra windows if you both replaced them.

A car with a 1.4L engine vs a 3L engine pays more in fuel because of consumption for a bigger engine.

The choice is yours.

Therefore - if the person is overweight & therefore a bigger clothing size through their own choice then yes they should pay for the extra material.

People who eat more have a larger & therefore more expensive shopping bill don't they?

It's typical of our country at present where we 'allow' people who don't act responsibly to enjoy the same benefits as people who do.

It's fucking wrong and if people had to pay for their own choices this country would be a better place.

As a civilised society we should have a system that compensates for people who aren't able to fend for themselves, but greed should never be compensated for as it's a personal choice.

I'm boring myself now..

Oh, Bollocks

Re: should fatties pay more for clothes?
Fatties are OK really.

Slim Jim's consume tons of food over 100 years.

Fat bastard consumes a similar amount over 40 -60 years.

It's nature's way of equalizing things...
